design that is a hybrid of a steal string flat top and arched
top guitars. The design was detailed and featured in Guitarmaker
(#17), a publication of the Association of Stringed Instrument
Artisans. The featured instrument has a master grade German spruce
top, figured koa back and sides, mahogany neck (16 fret neck
to body joint), four octave (24 fret) ebony fingerboard, adjustable
truss rod, maple and rosewood binding, ebony bridge and tailpiece,
split compensated saddle, ebony peghead, gold plated tuners,
rosette design in ebony, and a high gloss nitro-cellulose lacquer
finish.
