This is a newly designed hybrid instrument (2004) to accommodate both the fingerstylist and flat picker. The design has great volume, projection, and a well balanced tone with a bright treble and clear resonant bass response.

As with all my instruments, the Autumn Star is available with either an 'offset' or traditionally placed soundhole.

The featured guitar has a master grade red spruce top; curly mahogany back and sides; mahogany neck with 12 fret neck to body joint (14 fret neck to body joint available); ebony fingerboard and bridge; adjustable truss rod; figured koa binding; fully compensated saddle for more accurate intonation; Waverly tuners; red coral and pearl inlay; and a high gloss nitro-cellulose lacquer finish.

The 'Blazing Star' is a larger version of the 'Morning Star'. As a result of it's increased size, the design has more 'punch' and a slightly more prominant response to bass frequencies. Great volume and tonal balance across the strings and up the fingerboard.

The instrument is available with: 12 or 14 fret neck to body joint, non-cutaway or cutaway, 'offset' or traditionally placed soundhole, 6 string or 12 string (featured).
